Checkel-Dalton Associates has been involved in a variety of projects, from multi-storey
structures to remedial works on house foundations. Due to the wide breadth of experience
within the practice, we are ideally suited to vet existing structures and their claddings
for performance and more importantly, the manner in which the work is undertaken.
The service is now being effectively used in the assessment of buildings under varying
Latent Defects Policies for new buildings. Under these policies we report to the
Insurers and Underwriters.
We have assessed schools, office blocks, aircraft hangars, mosques and nursing homes
under he policy covers, with due regards for the design life required.
Our policy is to be involved with the building before the works get onto site, so
that any comments or queries ca be discussed with design team, for possible incorporation
into the scheme.
